Works from late 2020 and 2021 so far - livin’ and lovin’ things the best I can!

In May of 2020, I left my day job and started to do this whole thing full time. With more time, I’ve been steadily working on drawings and my mental health. It’s been tough, exciting, and heartwarming so far!
I made these drawings while thinking about comfort and dreams. Feeling distant from myself and others, I find solace in sleep and dreaming. They were really just about playing with what I'm close to everyday (food, body, furniture, etc) and trying to create little, dreamy spaces with those things.
Spring 2017
Drawings made on small note cards and other bits of paper, ranging from 2x3 inches to 5x6 inches. I made these quickly, letting myself be clumsy and have fun.
Fall 2016/Spring 2017
November of 2017, I had a lot of fun and felt really full.
I feel very close to my sketchbooks, they are often my most honest bundles of drawings.
Spring/Summer 2017
A little bit of life drawing.
2016/2017
Drawings from late 2015 and throughout 2016. Some of the largest works I've made so far, ranging from 18x24 inches to 40x60 inches. These are where I started to have a lot of fun with overlap, fragmentation, and moments in time.
Printmaking has influenced the way I draw so heavily, I'd be a different gal without it. These are etchings, lithographs, and woodblock prints from 2015 and 2016.
Promotion flyers and gear designs made for UNCG's wonderful art and literature magazine, The Coraddi. Made between Fall 2016 and Spring 2017.
